Alessandro Tartarini was born June 19, 1966, from a family that has a long tradition in the motorcycle industry.

Leopoldo Tartarini

His father Leopoldo was also a rider for Ducati and Benelli and he was the main protagonists of the 50’s motorcycle races. Later he founded Italjet Company, becomming a reference point on design of the motorcycle industry.

Egisto Tartarini

His grandfather Egisto was an official rider of Moto Guzzi during the beginning of last century, achieving important successes.

Until 2000

Alessandro, after his studies, was employed in his father’s business until 2000, mainly focused in the development of new products.

Milestone products

The models have been a big success in the world: Italjet Dragster, Italjet Formula and the famous Velocifero, that was the first retrò style scooter.

An international recognition

He received the major international recognition in 1994: NEWSWEEK decreed Velocifero “the object most desired by Americans”.

At the Guggenheim Museum

He has models showed at the museum Guggenheim of New York and Bilbao.

The success

The magazine “Spoon” has declared Alessandro one of the top 100 industrial design in the world.

2001: White

A perfect mix of design and engineering.

In 2001 he founded his own company specialized in design and engineering, providing the most important motorcycle manufacturers his experience and his talent.

Alessandro, well knows as one of the most experts in the world motorcycle, was charged by Lambretta Company to develop the new concept vehicles.
